AYŞE

She holds a degree in Linguistics from Hacettepe University and has worked as a language instructor for several years. Passionate about language learning, she specializes in teaching Turkish to foreigners.

She loves reading, especially the works of Nazım Hikmet, and believes that storytelling is one of the best ways to immerse students in a new language. In her free time, she enjoys Turkish coffee with her friends and dancing. She encourages students to not just learn Turkish but to live it—through music, film, and everyday conversations.

MEHMET

Passionate about Turkish culture and history, he studied Turkish Language and Literature at Istanbul University and later became a language teacher. Having worked with international students for over a decade, he loves sharing the intricacies of the Turkish language, from its unique grammatical structure to everyday expressions that locals use.

When he's not teaching, Mehmet enjoys traveling across Türkiye, discovering hidden villages, and preparing traditional Turkish dishes. He believes that learning a language is more than memorizing words—it's about understanding the soul of a culture.

LEYLA

With a sharp eye for strategy and a deep love for all things Turkish, Leyla is the digital voice behind our mission. Armed with a background in digital communication and audience engagement, she leads our outreach efforts.

Passionate about Turkey’s evolving identity, she brings hidden corners of Turkish culture into the spotlight—shining a light on regional traditions, emerging voices, and moments of heritage that deserve to be seen and celebrated. CAN

Born in Ankara and raised on a steady diet of Turkish poetry, folk music, and theatre, Can has always viewed language as more than just grammar—it’s a living, breathing expression of identity and culture. After earning his degree in Turkish Linguistics and Literature, he spent several years teaching Turkish to international students and creating educational content for language learning platforms.

Now a Language Content Developer on our team, Can brings together academic depth and a love for spoken, everyday Turkish. When he’s not writing or editing, you’ll likely find him wandering through old bookshops and bazaars, jotting down expressions in his notebook at a café, or strolling along the Bosphorus—always observing, always absorbing.

ZEYNEP

Born and raised in Istanbul, she grew up surrounded by bustling bazaars, the aroma of freshly baked simit, and the melodic rhythm of the Turkish language. Living in a city where history and modern life intertwine, she developed a deep appreciation for the stories, sounds, and soul of Turkey—and found her purpose through its language.

She joined us with one clear goal: to make Turkish more accessible and authentic. In a digital world overflowing with generic phrases and awkward translations, she’s committed to offering something real. And if her students walk away confidently mastering vowel harmony and charming locals with their pronunciation? Mission accomplished!

MUSTAFA

Mustafa was born in the United States, in a multicultural neighborhood where languages blended as naturally as the food shared at weekend gatherings. Though his roots were Turkish—his grandparents having emigrated from İzmir—he grew up speaking only fragments of the language at home. What began as curiosity about his family’s heritage gradually turned into a lifelong passion for the Turkish language and culture to others.

Beyond teaching, Mustafa works as a writer and editor, contributing to Turkish language learning platforms, developing curriculum, and hosting workshops. He has a special interest in connecting learners to the real, lived texture of Turkish—from casual conversations in Istanbul’s cafés to traditional sayings passed down through generations.
